This a fun tour with ample dinking opportunities. Our guide was great and very knowledgeable about the beer brewing process and the local beer scene. The tour stops at 3 local breweries where knowledge is shared and beer consumed. Our last stop had a food truck where one can purchase food (and I’d recommend one do). They also provide a bag of local sweet pretzels. These are pretty tasty, but no substitute for real food. It’s a great way to meet some new friends (at least temporarily). A little pricey, but a good time.

Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and made sure we had a blast. We had a diverse rambunctious group that he was more than able to connect.

We had a great time and learned quite a bit about the process and which types of beer we liked. We got to travel to different breweries and go to see their brew rooms.

This was a great tour! Jeff is very knowledgeable about the history of beer and the Austin beer scene. He picked some great stops and we enjoyed all of the beer choices. I’d definitely book another City Bre Tour!

No one suspected that he carried something very precious, concealed in his tube socks. It was the original yeast strain Pierre had been using to brew his world-famous Belgian-style Wit beer for the past 30 years. And there was no way he was going to brew without it. Today Celis brewery, now owned by Pierre's daughter Christine, and their flagship Celis White are an Austin staple. Average travel time between breweries is 15-30 minutes, depending on traffic.
