High on the hill of Consuegra, the imposing Castillo de la Muela stands like a time sentry. Its stone walls, witnesses of battles and legends, keep the echo of swords and the whisper of the wind.
Built in Andalusian times and reinforced by the Order of Saint John, it resists the onslaught of time with the same firmness with which it protected these lands. From its battlements, the view spans the plain, where the windmills turn to the beat of history.
Traveling its passageways is traveling to a past of knights, conquests and defenses. In its stones lives the essence of La Mancha, where reality and legend intertwine as in Quixote.
