Worth a visit if you have time when in New York. Allocate a good 3-4 hours to get around as there is a lot to see. Information, fun and educational.

We hadn’t been there for 30 years and it was Mrs Gang’s new wing that made us want to go there, well took us because this building is among those made in New York in recent years the most amazing, the most stimulating for the imagination and the most evocative, do you know others that remind us of a dinosaur skeleton, a hive, tunnels sometimes dug by lava, Cappadocia... in short organic structures, minerals, societies, habitats... what a fantastic success for a natural history museum!!! After wherever we go we remain fascinated by what is offended in our eyes, we planned to take a look at the minerals and we spent more than an hour and a half there, then we took the path that went through the dioramas and we ended up wanting to see them all and so on. I don’t think another natural history museum is as rich and spectacular as this one.

We visited on a Monday and it was extremely busy, especially with school trips, children wandering about and bumping into to you aimlessly. There is no air conditioning, we visited on a cold and rainy day and it was sweltering inside all the exhibits. Booking time slots should be implemented as it was so busy it was a struggle to see all the exhibitions.

All in all I liked it, especially the American animals (bears, elk, bison, etc.) Their size impressed me. We looked for some references to the movie "One Night at the Museum," but we didn't find much, honestly. We have not visited everything, because it is very large and would have taken a long time, but it is definitely to be included in a trip made with children, they will love it.
