Learning about Camargue

Excellent guide showing the lovely sites around les Saintes Maries de la Mer, the exquisite birds, mainly flamingos. We learned about the origins of the village, its customs and traditions. Also about Camargue, the intricate system of levies, bringing water from the Rhone river for their agriculture, rice, wheat as well as the bull fights and Camargue horses, the traditions that began in the XVIth and XVIIth centuries. An overall great experience. We took the 3,5 hour tour.
