Dadhet, our guide, was very personable and went out of his way to accommodate my M-I-L’s limited mobility, which we really appreciated. Our issues had to do with booking a GLUTEN-FREE food tour, that was only partially gluten-free! We would have even been fine if every stop was both gf and non-gf, but that was not the case. Furthermore, the description should advise that some stops would be “street food” locations, not providing a place to sit while eating. This is not the best option for all participants. Lastly, when comparing our expectations to the guide’s, we discovered my booking was for 3hours and 6 tastings. His information was for 2 hours, and as I counted it we had 5 tastings (last stop did include a glass of wine) and for the gf members of our party there were only 4 tastings. I feel Viator is to blame for either false advertising this as a gluten-free food tour, and/or mis-managing their guide assignments. Our guide had never done a gf tour, and was not very familiar with Celiac’s disease or the restrictions. I’ve done tours before and been very pleased but this was a disappointment.

Sunday evening, many restaurants closed, however guide adapted and chose hidden gems in local areas. Lots of friendly advice on restaurants thru week in 8th district Paris.

Travelers should be prepared to walk extensively as the tour highlights, and being mobile is important as you go throughout the city. Max, our tour guide, was fantastic, giving great explanations and history on the areas visited as well as the cuisine we were tasting. He was very patient and personable, and we would recommend him and this tour to anyone wanting to experience the culinary delights of Paris! All of the stops were good and timely, allowing us to take in the sights and sounds while enjoying true Parisian eats.

Our tour guide Nella knows Paris, food and history. Great food tour in 2 very quaint and traditional neighborhoods. Some of the best pastries we have ever had anywhere. Highly recommend!
