Overview
Meet your guide and small group in the center of Aix-en-Provence, and board your minibus. Your first stop is Lourmarin where you’ll have roughly an hour to explore the village that’s known as one of the prettiest in France.
From Lourmarin, you’ll return to the road, making a quick stop en-route for photos at Bonnieux, a striking village that seems to cling to the side of the Luberon. From here, it’s a short drive onward to Roussillon, the Luberon town famous for its ochre quarries and rosy cliffs.
After spending an hour in Roussillon, you’ll journey on to your final destination—Gordes. Probably the best-known village in the region, Gordes is instantly recognizable for its hilltop perch and views that lend themselves to panoramic Provence photos. Spend an hour here as you wish, then relax on the journey back to Aix-en-Provence.

A fantastic way to get a taste of the villages of the Luberon. Well organised - ran like clockwork. Our informed and entertaining guide Greg Duvaut could not have done more to be helpful and we had a wonderful time. Small group meant it was relaxed and fun. Fabulous and would recommend to anyone visiting the area.

An afternoon in the Luberon

It was a great afternoon. Donato took us out in Aix to experience another side of Provence. He gave us a lot of history of the region. Lovely scenery & had time to visit 3 villages along with several scenic stops. Would recommend this tour & Donato.

Hilltop Villages in Luberon (T6)

Suzanna did an excellent job driving us around the countryside to visit several small villages, explaining their history and agriculture and allocating the right amount of time for each village visit. There are also several good photo opportunities. My wife and I highly recommend this tour.
