Exceptional guide! We spent my family and I the best time of all our holidays in Martinique. Thank you again for this exceptional moment.

Daniel was a very friendly guide. We loved visiting the North of the island with her and her adorable little Rose. The itinerary is well thought out, and allows to have a nice overview of the area! Thank you again for the recommendations of places and visit and for your welcome! Samuel and Charlotte

I wish I could give this excursion 5 stars, but I just can’t. We were rushed at every stop and barely had time to take any pictures and enjoy the scenery. Daniel is a high energy person who walks crazy fast, which made it difficult to keep up with his fast pace. Although I appreciated his “smash & smell” of various plants, I would have much rather taken the time to look at other things and be able to take some pictures. The distillery was a beautiful place, but not enough time to explore and learn more about the history. I stood at the counter for 5-10 minutes waiting to sample the rum, but was never once offered a drink. I finally had to speak up after watching the worker skip over several of us waiting, to dote on a few of the same individuals. The drive back to the ship was at breakneck speed, even tho we had plenty of time to spare. This made it very uncomfortable for us all, since there was 3 people per seat in the van. Be prepared to get close to whomever you are sitting beside. You may not know whom that will be either, as you are asked to play musical chairs and switch seats and rotate at every stop. This is so everyone has to take turns to be the one in the back of the bus. (Which isn’t easy getting in and out of.)

The same bad review from the Jill Banbury's sister Jacqueline Seavolt so I will answer the same thing your cruise ship sells more expensive excursion where you will be sat all day in a bus with 49 other guests. If you are not able to walk it's better to choose a bus excursion. This day iin my excursion you were 8 passengers, and like all the other excursion we walk often but short time max 15 minutes per stop, and I always help my older guest . For the rum factory we have done a full and complete visit and I can bet with you that you are the one which tasted the exotic fruit I took for you because noone but your group came into the hidden spots I have done for you. In my tour every 90 minutes I do seats rotation like this every couple will enjoy the front seats, whatever you did not enjoy my excursion so please accept my apologies.

Had a great day with our tour guide Daniel on the Martinique Best Secrets North Island Tour. The tour is limited to 8 passengers in a nice a/c van. We booked this tour to use as a shore excursion from a cruise port stop. After meeting up with Daniel at the port we were quickly out of the city and into the tropical rainforest of Martinique. Our first stop was at the very pretty Balata Cathedral, where there is also a scenic overlook. Daniel is a wealth of botanical knowledge, so he walked us around outside pointing out interesting plants. The next highlight was a gorgeous waterfall accessible by stairs, where Daniel made sure we were safe entering. Be sure to wear your bathing suit and bring a towel if you wish to do this. More stops for quick little hikes to explore more of the amazingly lush rainforest, before heading to the beautiful Domaine d’Emeraude Botanical Garden where Daniel introduced us to so many of the tropical plants. Although we visited the lovely grounds of the Rhum Depaz Distillary, we weren’t able to have a rum tasting as it was closed for a holiday. However, we walked the grounds and learned some about the rum making process and had a stunning view of the Mt. Pelee Volcano. Lastly, we enjoyed some time on Carbet Beach, one of the volcanic beaches. Lunch is on your own here if you choose. The holiday caused some delay in the food order processing, so although it took longer than expected, Daniel still returned us to port about 90 minutes prior to all aboard. This tour moves fast, but definitely takes you to some of the off the beaten path treasures of Martinique.
