Full day tour, starting with a 7am pickup at our door. Herve, our driver & guide was absolutely wonderful. So brilliant on the Normany history and all the related facts. He made the day so enjoyable! Would absolutely recommend him. He brought us to a wonderful local restaurant in one of the fishing villages for lunch. Dropped back off at our address by 7pm.

What a great day with an amazingly knowledgeable guide There is a lot to see so hard to cover in a day but it gives you the feeling of making another trip to take in more of the area

This was a beautiful experience. A trip for all patriotic people and historians. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly. It’s a long day and we went mid-November. So it was cold and rained most of the time. So keep that in mind.

Absolutely amazing, personal experience. Our tour guide Fabrice was phenomenal and took us to all of the best locations in Normandy. His inside knowledge allowed us to see the sites unimpeded by bus and river cruise tourists. It made the powerful day that much more moving. I would recommend to anyone wanting to tour Normandy.
Your private tour guide will take your private group up for a full day of World War II history, with an emphasis on the American soldiers who fought to protect the Allies and their people.
You will visit important sites such as the ones that follow.
Your day continues with a visit to Pointe du Hoc, one of the most dramatic sites of the Normandy landings. Perched on a 100-foot cliff overlooking the English Channel, this position was heroically scaled by U.S. Army Rangers under heavy enemy fire. As you walk among the bomb craters and remnants of German bunkers, your guide will bring to life the extraordinary courage and determination that defined this mission.
Leaving Pointe du Hoc, you'll continue your drive to Omaha Beach, the site of one of the most pivotal events of World War II.
Here, you will stand on the sands where 2,400 American soldiers lost their lives on D-Day in the fight to secure a beachhead stretching nearly 5 miles, from Port-en-Bessin to the Vire River, ultimately linking up with the British landings at Gold Beach and the American forces at Utah Beach.
Your guide will share the powerful history of Omaha Beach before leaving you free time to reflect and pay tribute to those who fought against the German 352nd Infantry Division.
Your journey then takes you to the Normandy American Cemetery in Colleville-sur-Mer, the resting place of nearly 9,400 U.S. soldiers. Stroll among the perfectly aligned white crosses, visit the Memorial, the Wall of the Missing, and the chapel. This solemn and peaceful site is an enduring reminder of the cost of freedom.
Leaving the American Cemetery, you'll sit back and relax as you drive to Arromanches, where you will see the remains of the artificial harbor (Mulberry Bridge), a key engineering achievement that played a decisive role in the success of the D-Day landings.
