Fantastic trip through Aix

It was a fantastic trip across the city, learning about the history of Aix and the food within. Renaud is charming and an excellent resource to plan dinners and other visits throughout your stay.

Our guide Renaud was phenomenal! His presentation was warm and funny. He offered great historical context and some regional and local highlights. The day went by so quickly. It was fun and easy group and highly recommended way to see the city, meet new people and eat good food (a lot of food!) Cheers to Renaud!
Much more than a food tour!

This was much more than a food tour - it was our first day in Aix and Thais did a great job orienting us and giving us a lot of historical and architectural insights into the town. I was having trouble walking and she went above and beyond to make me comfortable. As for the food, I expected more tastings of Provençal food, as opposed to sitting down for meals. The truffle shop was interesting (plus they lent me a cane for the rest of the tour so no complaints there!) and the restaurant and patisserie we probably wouldn’t have found on our own and they were very good and felt authentic. The Brasserie we could have stumbled upon on our own, and the charcuterie was good, but the same as we’ve had elsewhere. Still, would highly recommend the tour and Thais as a guide.
