This is perfect for families, our 11yr old took control of the phone/app and directed us everywhere and read out all the info and tasks. Especially helpful that you can stop and restart, which we did a day later. Will be doing these across Europe for our whole trip!

In the beautiful "prison" Hotel Liberty we were made aware of the super fast connection with the tram line 9 between Kehl and Strasbourg. We took advantage of this opportunity immediately, arrived on the platform, bought 2 tickets and paid by credit card. Regrettably, had not read that these tickets had to be validated at the stop, which meant that instead of the already paid EUR 4.20 we had to pay an additional EUR 60.00 fine on the train, Every attempt to explain the fact that we had bought 2 tickets, however friendly, was of no use at all and messed up the actually interesting visit to Strasbourg. It may well be that these tickets have to be validated beforehand, but as a tourist who has bought tickets I really do not understand that you rip off visitors in such an unfriendly way. I would have preferred to spend enough money in Strasbourg, but I had no interest in that after the experience. Too bad and sad in equal measure to have had such a negative experience.

Perfectly organized! It was fun. That's how we got to places we wouldn't have seen otherwise. Nice and cozy without time pressure.
