Jungfraujoch is an impressive glacier saddle in the Bernese Alps, in Switzerland, connecting two recognisable mountain peaks, Jungfrau and Mönch. The site is reachable from Interlaken by the Jungfrau line, a railway running partly through the Eiger mountain. The construction of the railway line started in 1896 and is one of the most renowned Swiss tourist attractions.
