Get ready to discover Strasbourg and its millenary history!
The tour lasts approximately two and a half hours during which I will take you to discover all the most important areas of the city.
The common thread of this walking tour will be Strasbourg through the centuries: from the foundation of the city to the contemporary wars. We will visit together the most important squares of Strasbourg, the historic districts such as the Petite France and the Quartier des Tonneliers, and of course the most significant monuments of this enchanting French city.
During the tour I will give you information about museums, surroundings to visit and restaurants to try.

Perfect tour of Strasbourg

We loved this tour. Our guide, Davide, did speak with a strong Italian accent, but he was easy to understand and very animated in his explanations. He did a great job of covering the complicated history of Strasbourg and of pointing out historical sites and letting us know how to understand what we were seeing. We really enjoyed listening to him. We had a small group, and we had a chance to have a pleasant break (eclairs, coffee, a bathroom) halfway through. We definitely recommend this tour.
Superb walking tour

We did this trip on our first day after arriving and so glad we did. It highlighted the amazing long history of Strasbourg and took you all over to over some key highlighted neighborhoods. David was our tour guide and he was hilarious and had a way of brining the story and history alive. Definitely wear comfy shoes since it’s 2.5hrs. But along the way David highlighted restaurants to eat at and other museums we hadn’t researched yet. This is definitely a not to miss tour and. A must do for a first time visit.

We will discover the history behind this magnificent square, which fully embodies the true soul of Strasbourg.

The most important square in Strasbourg which every year at Christmas hosts the Christmas tree and one of the most beautiful markets in France.
20 minutesLa Petite France
We will visit one of the most beautiful and famous districts of Strasbourg and I will tell you why it is called that and how it has changed over the centuries.
40 minutesPlace Gutenberg
We will visit the historic district of Bottai where there are many ethnic restaurants.
20 minutesCathedrale Notre Dame de Strasbourg
We will end the tour in front of the Cathedral, where I will tell you some interesting stories about the symbol building of Strasbourg. WE WILL NOT ENTER THE BUILDING.
The remaining time of the tour will be spent explaining and moving between the attractions visited.
