A must do! We tasted all of the local Alsation foods - and was pleasantly surprised about the sauerkraut! Marinating in wine versus vinegar is a game-changer! Visiting the local gingerbread shop was so much fun! We learned about all of the spices in gingerbread and got to taste so many treats on this one stop! We were able to bring home several different sausages that we tasted, as they were vacuum packed for us. We were very full when we were done - so the tour is well worth the price! We met very nice people in our group as well. Guide was fun and knowledgeable.

Ricardo took us for a casual stroll through Strasbourg. We stopped at 5 places for different foods, where there were interesting facts given about the food and its origins. Ricardo also gave us some interesting facts both historical and current about his beautiful city. The food was all very tasty with options at 2 of the 5 places. I would recommend this tour.

I haven’t written a review for anything before, but felt compelled to after finishing this tour! The rest of my group and I were all incredibly pleased with our day, and could not stop talking about it for the remainder of our days in Strasbourg! Our guide, JP, was what really made this experience memorable. He is such a kind, knowledgeable person, who is clearly very proud of Strasbourg, and eager to share his enthusiasm! I would absolutely recommend this tour, if not to learn about the food, history and culture of the Alsace region, then just to spend some time with JP!

Christine was our guide and being from Strasbourg her knowledge of the city was great. However Christine has the balance right in terms of knowledge sharing.
