We have found that doing a food tour is both an excellent way of finding out about a new city from a local and exploring great places to eat. A city like Strasbourg has so many choices it would be difficult to know where to start. Our tour guide Darya made the process easy and took us to a selection of great places to taste traditional food. Thanks for an interesting and informative tour Darya. Highly recommended!

Tour guide was excellent and spoke English very well. Large volume of food (too much), with a large variety. Good historical tour as well. Food was okay (but that goes to personal taste).

Please, bear in mind that the tastings here described may change according to the season and the availabilities of our partners.
Let's start your culinary journey with a local aperitif! In an épicerie in of the most picturesque squares in Strasbourg, named after the famous Napoleonic battle, you will sip a refreshing glass of local beer while indulging in a delicious charcuterie and bretzel tasting. You will truly see how French and German food culture will mix up in Strasbourg!
Have a seat in this beautiful traditional restaurant, also known as Winstub, and try one of their signature dish: the choucroute garnie! It's a tender sausage served with saurekraut that's a true Alsatian gem. A vegetarian alternative is available, please inform us when you book.
Enjoy a cheese tasting in this local boutique, near one of the most pictoresque squares in town. Here, you will discover some local varieties of cheese, such as the famous Munster, with the help of our Local Expert.
Have a stroll in Petite France districts, with its traditional buildings and the views on the canals.
And here, let's end on a sweet note: have a slice of a sweet tarte flambée with apples and cinnamon, indulge in a pain d'épice tasting (Christmas time only) or try the famous kugelhopf, soft and heart-warming. The choice of the dessert depends on the season and the availability of the ingredients.
