Marie was marvelous! She had interesting stories, fascinating history, and a great sense of humor. She not only shared with us, but listened to our shared experiences and interests. Marie is the best.

Wouldn’t recommend, lacked variety

Abigail_K, Apr 2026

This missed the mark for me. I have come to expect food tours to contain multiple small portions of a variety of foods- this one did not. It felt more like a singular meal with a couple additional sweet treat snacks. The guide, Marie, deserves five stars- very knowledgable and did a great job highlighting the neighborhood which we enjoyed seeing. The food itself was good but there wasn’t a lot of information given about the food or the establishments they came from. This is the only food tour I’ve been on (have been on about 10 total over the years) where I left feeling a bit hungry which made the value of the tour feel poor. Would not recommend mainly because of the lack of variety. Additionally, there was a lot of uphill walking which could be an issue for someone who has mobility issues.

Response from Host, Apr 2026

We are sorry to hear that the experience did not meet your expectations. However, we feel that your review does not fully reflect what is actually offered. You mention a lack of variety, yet we provide a clearly defined and diverse selection of products, all detailed in our description so guests know exactly what to expect. The experience also includes a cheese tasting, which is a key part of the tour and was not mentioned in your feedback. We strongly encourage all guests to read the full description before booking, as it outlines the content of the experience in a transparent way. Additionally, while we do not expect everyone to master the French language, it is worth noting that “Montmartre,” as the name suggests (“mont” meaning hill), is a famous Parisian neighborhood located on a hill, which is precisely one of its defining features. While we respect all opinions, the large number of positive reviews we have received reflects the experience most of our guests enjoy. We remain confident in the quality of what we offer and will continue to provide the same experience with consistency and care.
