I found this a magical experience at a magical place, it was truly awesome! I would highly recommemd to anyone.

Good time but to long of a bus ride

Ralph_C, Sept 2025

If you taking this trip from the Mallorca cruise terminal it’s a 15 min ride to location meet then a 45 min bus ride to caves Caves where wonderful could of done without the concert but it was an expierence Taxi ride is 20 euros there and 20 euros back so an xtra 40 on top of tickets and bus ride it’s a long walk if you attempt to walk it to meeting point it’s by the cathedral across the street all the way at the end better off a taxi ride There is nothing around the caves no shopping except your usual gift shop

Beautiful caves and lovely experience!

Noel D, Sept 2025

The caves were a great experience! The bus was easy to find, air conditioned, and overall the tour was very organized. Our tickets allowed us to skip the line. It’s self-guided in the caves. They are not to be missed—beautiful formations and moves pretty quickly in spite the crowds. I’m a classical music buff, so for me, the concert was the highlight. It’s only 10-15 minutes, but the string quartet is on a rowboat circling the lake. They turn off all the lights except on the boat. Afterward, you take a rowboat across the lake to exit. Yes, the ride is extremely short—maybe 1-2 minutes, but it was a cool experience and gave off major Phantom of the Opera vibes. The tour gave us ample time to see the caves and wander the souvenir shops. Highly recommend—no complaints.

The juice isn’t worth the squeeze.

Laura_M, Sept 2025

The “boat ride” is only about 10 meters in length - and there was no organization of the massive crowds in the cave. Hundreds (thousands?!) of people herded through the cave by sheer inertia. Not enjoyable at all.

Response from Host, Sept 2025

Firstly, the boat ride across Lake Martel is a short symbolic crossing, lasting about 8 minutes — it has always been designed this way. It is not a long excursion but rather a unique way to exit the concert area, and many guests describe it as atmospheric and special. For example, in another recent review, a classical music lover highlighted the concert and the boat ride as the highlight of their trip, even comparing it to Phantom of the Opera. As for the crowds, the Caves of Drach are one of Mallorca’s most visited attractions. Yes, there are many visitors, but it is certainly not “thousands being herded.” The flow is managed so that all guests can experience the cave, the formations, and the concert. Most guests appreciate how smoothly it moves given the popularity of the site. At Nofrills Excursions, with over 20 years of experience in Mallorca, we ensure skip-the-line entry, organised transport, and guidance so guests can enjoy the caves without the stress of logistics. Kind regards, The Nofrills Excursions Team
