It's one of the world’s most beloved sweets, but few know much about it. At the Gourmet Chocolate Museum (Musée Gourmand du Chocolat) in Paris, taste your way through the evolution of chocolate as you trace its 4,000-year past, from mystical cocoa rituals in ancient Aztec tribes to the shiny chocolate treats you see gleaming in the store windows of posh Parisian chocolatiers. Sample a variety of chocolate products while witnessing how they're made, and enjoy a cup of hot chocolate at the end (if option selected).

Having been in this museum when I was little, I had a better memory of it! Probably due to the fact that there are mini scenes with Playmobil. I think the museum is aging and nothing has improved since then, it’s a shame. Value for money, I strongly advise you to make another Parisian museum with your children. I was surprisingly surprised by the prices of souvenirs which for the cost remains correct and not too excessive.

Interesting and fun visit, beyond all expectations. Playful path, varied and set up very well, suitable for adults and children. Very kind staff, free tastings and booklet-game for children. I highly recommend!

A great family day out for adults & children with lots of chocolate to eat. Wonderful experience learning the history of chocolate to modern day.

The museum is of interest but does not really fit the description of the site. The visit is quite disappointing. The value for money is bad. It is quite commercial but we should have expected it ...
