Wonderful way to walk in Versailles. J.B. is an excellent guide. These scooters are very efficient, easy to drive and very safe.

What a brilliant afternoon we had discovering the gardens of the palace of Versailles and the environs of Versaille’s grand royal houses. J-B was an excellent, very knowledgable and thoughtful guide with a real sense of fun. The electric “trottinettes’ are scooters with a difference that we have not seen in England. They are large with fat tyres for stability and a platform so your feet are side by side so much more comfortable than an ordinary scooter and so much fun! J-B trains you in how to use them and it didn’t take long till we were off rolling down the grand avenues towards the palace. We are 68 and 70 years old, used to cycling so we really got into it! The electric scooters give you the opportunity to get a sense of the immense scale of the palace grounds. Had great smiles on our faces yesterday and today looking at the pictures and videos that J-B sent. J-B even indulged our love of languages by doing the tour in French and coping patiently with our own attempts to speak the language! Couldn’t recommend it more.

This was an absolute blast. It’s was such a fun way to see the grounds of Versailles. JB was great and thinks of everything. I especially loved that he takes a lot of photos and videos and gives them to you at the end of the tour. I would highly recommend.

Hi, Jamie, Thank you for this review and I'm glad you enjoyed this discovery, which combines a visit to the Parc du Chateau with its 600 hectares and a tour of the gardens. It's fun to ride an electric scooter through the Park and then take a nice walk through the gardens. I want everyone to enjoy their visit without having their nose on their phone to take photos. That's why I'm in charge of everything. Thanks for everything and I look forward to seeing you. JB

We had a wonderful time scootin' around the huge Versailles park, with JB. We would never have been able to walk or see the Grand Trianon, Petit Trianon or the Grand Canal... Which was very grand. We felt safe and well informed by our guide JB. He took wonderful photos and videos of us as we explored,.. and sent them to us right away. A NEW WAY TO VISIT VERSAILLES.

thank you for your review. Yes indeed, the Grand Canal is huge. It took over eleven years to build and is over 1600 metres long. A fantastic perpective. With pleasure
Before stopping at the Grand Trianon and discovering the pink marble colonnades, you'll have stopped at an old gate where the village of Trianon once stood. You'll then drive along the paths around the gardens of the Hameau de la Reine to the Grand Trianon.
After the Grand Trianon, a stop is planned opposite the Petit Trianon. You'll see the difference?
You'll ride around the Grand Canal, or if you prefer, you can use other paths (less frequented by tourists) to admire an exceptional view of the Chateau.
With your guide, you'll discover the 77-hectare gardens of the Chateau de Versailles on foot.
Your visit to the gardens will surely begin at the Bassin de Neptune. After discovering the only statue with the face of King Louis 14, you'll head back up to the Chateau's terrace.
You'll discover this fountain on your way up to the Chateau's terrace. A dragon in Versailles?
the Castel behind you, the Bassin de Latone overlooking the Grand Canal. Are you ready?
After discovering the gardens, you'll get back on your scooters to see this water feature, located outside the Parc du Chateau de Versailles.
depending on how much time remains in this discovery, you may return to your starting point by passing through the old quarter of Versailles.
In front of the Grandes Ecuries, near the equestrian statue of Louis XIV, you'll be equipped with helmets, gloves, vests and walkie-talkies. You'll be introduced to driving an electric scooter. Once you're ready and comfortable, you'll set off, accompanied by a guide, towards the Parc du Chateau de Versailles.
(The time at this point depends on the number of participants and the amount of time you've been given to learn to drive the scooter).
That's where we'll be coming back too.
