Immerse yourself in one of the world’s great wine regions on this four-night, self-guided bike tour from Beaune. The itinerary includes a two-night stay in Beaune—a scenic, medieval village considered Burgundy’s wine capital—and two nights in the village of Vougeot, famed for its grand cru vineyard. Enjoy ample time at your leisure to explore the countryside by bicycle, visit top wineries (tastings own expense), drop by jam and cheese producers, and otherwise see (and taste) the highlights of the area.

Lovely day with a good bike

Corinne gave me a really nice bike and made sure everything was checked carefully. I also received a new repair kit and a pump. She even shared some great tips on where I should go riding. I was especially happy that I could get a bike on such short notice, as I only called and asked shortly after the shop opened that morning. It was a wonderful day with great weather and beautiful scenery. I truly hope to return to that region someday. Cheers Frederik

The ride through wine country is beautiful. The route is well-marked and has very light traffic. Corinne was great at Bourgogne Evasion — very helpful about the equipment and things to do or look forward along the route. Our only concern was that the rental bikes were not in great shape. We’d recommend doing a short test run before you head out on the bike path.

Extremely welcoming and helpful staff. We reserved four bikes for four days before our trip. We realized that our AirBnB had no place for us to store our bikes, so we asked the staff if we could leave them at the shop and pick up each. The staff permitted that. There was absolutely no hassle each day when we arrived for our bicycles. One staffer spoke English well and the others managed well enough in communicating with us. Further, the shop is a short distance to the bike route through vineyards, both Cote de Beaune and Cote de Nuit. Highly recommend this business to anyone.

Corine was very kind and welcoming, gave excellent tips for our tour. Well maintained e-bikes as well, took our dogs as well in small trailer attached to the bikes so they could enjoy the tour as well.
