This option is perfect for someone (me) who was unable to purchase timed tickets on the direct website because of dual factor authentication doesn’t work when using an international eSIM. I purchased tickets to see Versailles the day before my visit at a reasonable price (not much if at all more expensive than buying off the official website). Remember that this ticket is self-guided; so after your walk through the palace and souvenir shops, you’ll need to figure out how you will get to through the gardens/mini palaces. We rode the mini train and found that to be enjoyable. Again. One must remember that stops at the other venues requires self-guidance. We found that the Rick Steeves Paris guide book was extremely helpful.

The audio guide is AI generated and doesn’t follow the rooms so it’s not that helpful, you need to fast forward or rewind to the specific room. Not worth it, just go to the palace.

The difference is the price of the service and the price of the audio-guide. Sorry for your bad experiance. Our guides are recorded by humans.

The Palace of Versailles, originating in the 17th century, has served various roles throughout its history: from a hunting lodge to a seat of power, and since the 19th century, as a museum.
The gardens and the Palaces of Trianon, the park of the Château de Versailles spans over 800 hectares. It is a beautiful place to visit.
Since 1979, the Palace of Versailles has been listed as a World Heritage and is one of the greatest achievements in French 17th century art. Louis XIII's old hunting pavilion was transformed and extended by his son, Louis XIV, when he installed the Court and government there in 1682. A succession of kings continued to embellish the Palace up until the French Revolution.
The Hall of Mirrors, the most famous room in the Palace, was built to replace a large terrace designed by the architect Louis Le Vau, which opened onto the garden.
