I travelled to Fez with my husband for our honeymoon, and Youssef made sure our tour was absolutely amazing. He knows every corner of the Medina and shared so much interesting and important information with us. We truly enjoyed his company, and he also gave us great recommendations. We highly recommend him!!

We had a really nice and interesting tour throught the Medina of Fez. Youssef showed us places we would not have found ourselves and provided many insightful facts about the history and current practises of the things we saw. Furthermore, he led us to several local shops and little factories of typical handcrafted products from this area. We would definitely recommend booking a tour wit Youssef.

As expected, top class tour. Youssef is an amazing person to meet and a friend in need. Tourism is a profession not easy to be be practiced, but he did. Thank you dear Youssef.

It's been a very long time since Youssef showed us the city of Fes, but I remember it very well. He is a very kind, helpful and knowledgeable person, who grew up in the medina of Fes. That is why he knows local customs well and speaks with locals. At our request, he asked a local to show us his house. Highly recommended to anyone visiting Fez for the first time. Thank you for everything!
Our journey begins at Al-Qaraouiyine University, recognized as the oldest existing university in the world. You’ll marvel at its exquisite architecture, including intricately carved wooden doors and zellij tilework, and learn about its pivotal role in Islamic scholarship since the 9th century.
Next, we visit the Mausoleum of Moulay Idriss II, the spiritual heart of Fez. As we approach, your local guide will recount the legacy of Moulay Idriss, the founder of Fez, whose shrine is a pilgrimage site for locals.
Stroll to Saffarine Square, a lively hub of brassware artisans. Watch the craftsmen at work, using techniques passed down through generations. This square also provides a picturesque setting for photography.
Dive into the iconic Chouara Tannery, where leather goods are crafted using centuries-old techniques. From a panoramic viewpoint, observe the vibrant dyeing vats and learn about the process from raw hide to finished product.
Visit the Attarine Madrasa, a stunning example of Islamic architecture. Built in the 14th century, it features intricate carvings, a tranquil courtyard, and a glimpse into the life of scholars who once studied here.
Conclude the tour at the Street Food Market, where your guide will introduce you to popular Moroccan delicacies. Savor local favorites such as b’ssara, msemen, or grilled meats while experiencing the lively atmosphere of the medina.
