Lovely! Highly recommend!

Chayo_S, Sept 2025

Sylvanie is the guide you want! Her Master’s in Art History tied the art from the palace to the Louvre in Paris. She loved her subject, the Kings and Queens, their daily rituals, and families. The gardens were stunning, the music in the background was magic and accompanied the mythology of the statues. It’s good to be king!

Response from Host, Sept 2025

Sylvanie is indeed among the finest at her craft and exemplary of what you can expect from a Memories guide. We are particularly passionate about Versailles, which in some ways started the whole Memories adventure, so we strive to get it right. We're so glad to have shown the palace to end all palaces to a kindred spirit - thank you Chayo! (Sylvanie will be so pleased when we send on your kind words)

Very interesting, we had...

Angela_B, Aug 2025

Very interesting, we had a great tour guide that gave us lots of history about the palace and it's kings.

Response from Host, Sept 2025

We had such a wonderful time sharing all the stories that bring old Versailles back to the days of the Kings that brought her into being! Thanks so much for booking with Memories!

Don't visit without a guide.

697katiao, Aug 2025

The guide was amazing! Really gets your attention and knows the history of the palace. We would have missed 90% of the details without him. It was a history lesson instead of a visual visit.

Response from Host, Aug 2025

We do strive to weave what you're seeing back into its historical context, otherwise it's an onslaught of glitter and gold, and hard to make sense of. We let you in on the secret details not in any guide book that breathe life back into it all, the eventful past that made the present we live in!

The Sun King’s home

Response from Host, Aug 2025

Hello Sanford, We must indeed be kindred spirits to so agree! We so love giving you the Versailles treatment and to make all that bling make sense to a modern eye. Having fallen head over heels for Versailles as youngsters, its just a joy to be able to share a deep dive into the whys and wherefores of so much opulence - thank you for choosing us for your safari into life among the French royals of the time
