Our Cannes Food Tour is a walking tour in small groups around the old town. You will be guided by a Local Expert able to explain every detail of the selected restaurants, their preparations, and any other relevant history or curiosities.

Delicious & Fun Tour of Cannes

Saskia led a fantastic wine & food tour through Cannes. She shared an array of interesting information - local customs, history, relevant traditions. Her English is excellent. Saskia was pleasant, welcoming & conscientious. She was an excellent resource & made wonderful recommendations for the remainder of our vacation. Thank you!
Top guide, partly still organizational suggestions for improvement

Saskia did her job really great and told us a lot of background knowledge about the spots in Cannes as well as other tips about sights from surrounding cities in addition to the numerous information about the cuisine. Directly after the tour we had a WhatsApp with her recommendations around Théoule sur Mer from her as we informed her that we were staying here. Of course, the message is also about the link to a possible recommendation, but I find this personalized message very original and helpful. The tour itself was well set up. Some of the stops could have been chosen a little differently (e.g. I don’t necessarily have to stop behind a garbage can for 10 minutes to talk about the opposite island). Unfortunately, the wine “tasting” included only one wine. That could have been set up a little differently. In general, I found it unfortunate that no source can tell in advance which drinks are available in which number. More transparency from the provider should be created here. I also found the time of 17:30 chosen very early for Mediterranean conditions, but this is of course a matter of taste.

Charming Saskia lead us through the Le Suquet area of Cannes for tastings of the wines and delicacies of the region. She started the tour with a gift of macaroons from the famous Laduree. A highlight was the stop at the Marche Forville with visual spectacle of the colorful and perfect produce. Saskia’s knowlege of the history as well as the food added to the experience.

Today evening it was a great food tour in Cannes with Saskia, she not only explained the food very well, but also talked about the history, architecture and the Cannes Film Festival. All in all I had I great walk trough Cannes with delicious food and a very sympathetic tour guide.
